Isabella finds freedom in embracing human complexity, through acting, dancing and writing. She was born and raised in Barranquilla, Colombia and moved to NYC where she received her degree in Acting at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. She is trained in Shakespeare work, stage combat, theatre, ballet, Latin American dances, film and television and has a minor in Psychology.
Isabella is a combination between your warm, bubbly yogi best friend and the feisty, smart warrior you've always admired. Some of her favorite past roles include Puck from Midsummer Nights Dream, The Bride from Blood Wedding and the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland.
As a Latina immigrant, Isabella understands the arts as an opportunity to bring to life the stories that have been silenced, as a platform designed to ignite reflection, change, courage, and of course JOY!
Recently received the Outstanding Achievement in Studio Award for the Stella Adler Studio of Acting.
Recently named a University Honors Scholar due to placing in the top 40% of the Tisch School of the Arts graduates.
Participated in a community outreach tour at schools, detention facilities and elder homes throughout NYC playing Puck in A Midsummer Nights Dream, with the Stella Adler Studio of Acting.
Q-friends, a short series to be released this summer, follows 4 eccentric characters with contrasting characteristics, who look or are forced to look for friendships on a new online program developed during the Covid-19 pandemic. Written, produced and edited by Isabella during complete quarantine.
